Dining Out With Food Allergies

These are my personal experiences in various restaurants. Food allergies seem to be a growing problem and restaurants are becoming better aware of this. My goal is for this to be an interactive site that will help us all to find great places to have pleasant and delectable dining experiences.

About Me

My photo
Jennifer J Daly
I have always enjoyed dining out and sampling new foods and flavors. But about 5 years ago my life was altered as to what I can or cannot eat due to a milk allergy that I have developed. I am not lactose intolerant but actually allergic to cow's milk as well as goat's milk.My reaction can be mild to severe depending upon how much milk has gotten into my system. In years past I have been in the food industry in many aspects: from waiting tables for flash cash to bartending for even more flash cash to running dietary departments in assisted living facilities to teaching residents about specific diet issues. In addition to all of that I love to cook myself. After developing an allergy to milk and milk products I have even become a bit of a baker so that I may imbibe in occasional sweets.
